  • Work on front-end widgets with content population as approved by the various college departments

  • Shadow and work with the school Webmaster on development projects for the website through the various phases of the project life cycle with consideration of following best practices and development standards

  • Use the Content Management System to make updates to the new website

  • Migrate and update content from the existing website to new webpages

  • Carry out quality assurance tests to discover errors and optimize usability

Graphic Design Student Intern at the SWC Office of Communications, Community, and Government Relations (August 2017-present)

  • Create print material requested by and in close collaboration with various school departments such as packets, pamphlets, inserts, flyers, and posters for information dispersal using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and inDesign

  • Collect reliable information of school resources in order to create print material for the benefit of the college community of over 22,000 students

  • Align with editorial strategy and develop content through visuals and designed concepts

  • Create flyers, visual aids, and other materials related to public relations and outreach in order to announce events hosted by the clubs by utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

  • Collaborate closely with grassroots organizations both in the Filipinx-American community and other marginalized communities in order to cultivate a sense of community and progress

President for Other Writers Guild at Southwestern College (August 2016-May 2017)

  • Facilitate both all club meetings to ensure productivity and efficiency

  • Provide a creative outlet for fellow students by being the Editor-in-Chief of the club’s literary journal The Vagabond Reader that is published every semester
